Switch from Cursor.
Windsurf is your IDE with every frontier model, a command center for all your agents, and Devin — our autonomous cloud agent — built in.
Import your Cursor keybindings in one click.
What you get with Windsurf 2.0
Meet Windsurf
The agentic IDE, upgraded.
Windsurf is the first agentic IDE — a code editor where you and your agent work side-by-side on the same codebase. It combines deep codebase understanding, a breadth of advanced tools, and real-time awareness of what you're doing into one seamless flow.
Windsurf 2.0 introduces the Agent Command Center — a Kanban view of every agent you're running, local and cloud — and brings Devin, our autonomous cloud agent, directly into Windsurf. Ship more with local and cloud agents working together.
Why switch
A better editor. A better agent.
Every frontier model
Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, xAI, DeepSeek, Cognition — your IDE works with any model. Pick the model that fits the job, not the one your IDE picks for you.
The Agent Command Center
See every agent you are running — local and cloud — in a single Kanban view. Organize work into Spaces, each with its own sessions, PRs, files, and context.
1-click handoff to the cloud
Plan with a local agent and send the work to Devin with a single click. Devin spins up its own VM with a desktop, browser, and computer use, and keeps working after you close your laptop.
1-click switch your setup
Bring your Cursor keybindings with you so day one in Windsurf feels familiar. Switch to a new IDE, not a new muscle memory.

Windsurf is so much better than Cursor. It just makes the steps easier, like creating new folders within the flow. I like how I just type my prompt, go away for a bit, come back and theres a web preview waiting.

I think @windsurf_ai will win the AI Coding Assistant wars. What leads me to believe this is beyond the product itself and how the team executes.

Unreal. I just built an app with 1 prompt.

I've been exclusively using Windsurf for the past 3 weeks. They are not paying me to say this. It's really good. Really really good.

Windsurf UX beats Cursor for novices like me. Just click "preview" - it sets up a server and keeps it *active*. Same goes for MCPs and extensions. Click a button in Windsurf, done.

The reason I chose Windsurf is because you guys are on a constant mission of streamlining, improving and generally making the experience better for your users. The recent pricing rework with the clear and fair token usage plans are what convinced me to convert. It makes me feel like you care about users and builders.

One of the many cool features of the Windsurf IDE is the "Problems" tab that lists all the issues in your project.

I've been building a new thing with Windsurf and I spent the last hour in almost hysterical laughter because the responses are just so good.

It feels incredible to open a project with Windsurf for the first time, and it runs pytest, pylint, and radon in parallel, identifying all immediate issues within one second.

I am currently trialing Windsurf and I really have to say the UI feels way more intuitive than Cursor.
